My Music Video

This was my groups second project together. I improved greatly from my commercial. I needed to improve from my first one since I gained more experience from it. I am proud of my music video and all the progress that came with it. This music video shows that I can make efficient media products. This music video has prepared me well for the media products in the future. I had so much fun with the music video. Me and my group members created memories we will never forget. I know I made a great music video. It was a great experience that will be with me for a long time.

Filming last three scenes and editing music video

Scenes 10-12 and editing On December 10th, me and my group filmed scenes 10-12 for the music video. Me and Charlie filmed these scenes at his house. The props we used was a phone, and a bed. For the 10th scene, me and my group showed Charlies phone and it said, how we had a good day. Me and my group wanted the audience to see that me and group truly had a good day. For the 11th scene, me and my grouped filmed Charlie thinking about all the fun he had today. This scene only took one shoot since it is a two second scene. For the 12th scene, me and my grouped filmed Charlie going to sleep smiling. This scene was at his house and it only took one shot. This was the last day filming for us so we made the best out of it.  Since we are done filming, it is time to edit the scenes to make the music video. Me and my group finished the editing in one night. Me and Charlie were editing the scenes and it took us about two hours. He mostly edited them but I gave him advice on which scenes to edit

Filming the scenes at 7-11 and at my house

Scenes 7-9 On December 8th, me and my group filmed scenes 7-9 for the music video. Me, my group member Charlie, and my brother filmed these scenes at the 7-11 and my house. Me and Charlie were in scenes 7 and 8 and me and my brother were in scene 9. The props we used were slurpees, pizza, and a TV. For the 7th scene, me and my group member Charlie, are walking to 7-11 talking and having a good time. My brother was filming this scene for me and Charlie. This scene took a while because we had to wait for the door to be cleared since people were walking in and out from 7-11. We also had a 2nd part to this scene since me and my group member was filmed walking out of 7-11 also. We choose to go to 7-11 because the song mentions 7-11 so it will fit in. The next scene me and Charlie got items from 7-11 such as slurpees and pizza, and my brother Zach filmed us getting the items.  Me and group members showed us filling up a slurpee cup and getting pizza. This scene only took one try to film si

Finishing filming the middle scenes of the music video

Scenes 3-6 On December 6th, me and my group filmed scenes 3-6 for the music video. Me and my group member Charles filmed these scenes. Me and Charles filmed these scenes at the park. We both were in the scenes and I had my brother help film these three scenes. The props we used was a basketball, and a water bottle. For the third scene, I showed up to the basketball court with my basketball in my hand, and I saw a pickup game going on, and I point as if will join the game. Charles was filming me, this scene created no trouble for us and it only took us one attempt. Since the song mentions basketball, me and my group wanted to have some basketball scenes involved. The next scene, my brother helped me and my group member Charles filmed us playing 1 vs 1 basketball. I pretended to guard Charles, we wanted it to look like we were having fun playing basketball. We had to wait around 20 minutes for the courts to clear so we can film this scene. It took us a couple tries to get a good shot.

Beginning to film the song- today was a good day

Beginning Scenes On December 2, me and my group have started filming the music scenes. Me and my group were all available to film today. We filmed the first 3 scenes out of 12 today for our music video. I was at my group members house for the first two scenes. I was helping film him when doing the scenes. He had all the props at his house. The first scene I filmed was him sleeping, and then his alarm clock goes off and he wakes up blessed and smiling, and then the song started playing.  It took 15 minutes to get a perfect shot but we got it right. The next scene I helped film him in the kitchen making breakfast, such as eggs, bacon, and juice. Since the song talks about breakfast, we wanted to include a scene where we have a group member having breakfast. This scene was easy to film for us since it was not hard. The last scene I filmed today was at the park.  Me and my group member were walking around talking about our day. We had happy facial expressions since the song is about havi
