  CCR 1. How does your product use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent social groups or issues? My product Nike uses and challenges conventions by representing certain topics, characters, and important events. Our product and commercial presents a number of topics such as football, volleyball and other physical activities that show conventions in our product. My product is advertised with characters, actors that represent the company and NIKE clothing as sports wear, for physical activity. Finally, my product groups people together and influences them to take part in these activities with Nike, which shows how I represent a social group while also presenting the issue of many people on the issue of many people not being active. 2. How does your product engage with audiences AND how would it be distributed as a real media text? My product engages with the audience by inspiring them and motivating them to be active and go outside, and be healthy, while using Nike gear....

  My Commercial    This was my groups first project together. I know that I can improve with my next group projects coming up. But needing improvements is expected because it was my first filming project. I am proud of my product and at all the work that went to it. The film shows that I cam capable of producing efficient films. This film prepared me for the films to come. I had so much fun with this film. Me and my group members created memories we will never forget. I know that I made a great film. At first I thought the project was going to be boring and hard, but it turned out to be fun and not that hard.

 Editing Blog 2: Hello, today is October 8th. Today is the day where we have a 2nd day to edit the commercial. I have edited everything with the help of my group members so know we are officially done with editing. So today in class, I was watching the commercial and admiring what me and my groups members created. I remembered to edit all the scenes to ensure that the commercial was 30 seconds long. Me and my group members would all use one editing tool. I was on video call with my group members. I made suggestion to properly edit the film and my other group members would make suggestions so that the film was good. I sometimes had to leave the video call early. So I made sure to get all the editing done I need to before I left. So today for me was a day to chill out. I studied more of the film vocab terms so I will more than prepared for the final test.  Editing Today is October 6th 2021. I had just started editing for the commercial. I needed to make sure all the scenes were in order. Some of the scenes I filmed could not be edited and put into the commercial because they were not good enough. The editing started on the school computers so it was a little bit difficult. But the editing finished at home so it was easier. After the edit, the film was about 28 seconds. I had a little bit of a problem trying to make the film get to 30 seconds. I corrected this by slowing down the speed of the film to make it last longer. When I filmed, I threw a football and it hit the ground, so when I edited with my group, I just edited the ball in the air and slowed it so it can be good. I also added action music to make the commercial more interesting and not be boring.   Filming Day 2 Today is Monday October 4th. Me and my group started filming on September 30th. All of my group members were here for both days. We finished filming on the first day. Today, we reviewed what we filmed to make sure it was good enough. So now, our next steps are focusing on the editing portion of the project. So today, we relaxed a little to prepare. We also made sure that our commercial was near 30 seconds. Most of the kids in our class went outside to film. This meant that the whole class was empty. I brought some of my Nike products today just in case if I needed them. However, I did not need to bring the products since we were done. Me and my group members also talked about how we filmed the first time. We got a head start on editing today. For the film, we know we needed to find good action music.                                                       Filming Day 1: Football field On September 30th, me and my group started filming our commercial. All of my group members were available today to film all scenes for the commercial. As the actor, I brought and wore the props for the film. I had to wear the clothes throughout the whole school day. I made sure that I was acting the way my storyboard said I would act for the commercial. There was a lot of other groups at the field filming for their project also. Me and my group had to make sure that we were the only people in the shot. We made sure that the scenes during the commercial were accurate and good enough to use. First my group members filmed my shoes up to my headband because all of my products were Nike. Next, I threw my football to one of my group members to show that Nike improves your game....

  First scene: During the first scene, we are going to keep  an  extreme close - up angle of the  subjects'  feet, and slowly pan upwards to capture the Nike clothing the subject is wearing, until we get to around his shirt.     Second scene: The second scene will show a  Medium- long shot  of the subjects Nike shirt, the camera will also catch a football in frame in the  subject's  hand, implying that the subject is going to throw the football     Third scene: the third scene will be a bit more complicated ;  it will show the subject in slow-motion throwing the football towards the opposite  end of the field.
