Pitches to consider!

Our pitch

Today is February 2nd and my group has come up with our pitches. Me and my group members have been coming up with pitches ever since the final task came to our attention. We have been researching how to make good workable pitches. We have come up with two pitches that we think would be the best to use.
The first pitch is "A man is taking his daily walk through the park, what he doesn't know is that his enemy is watching... waiting to seek revenge."
We feel like this would be an interesting pitch to make a film on this pitch because it shows the "enemy" as someone who has a relationship with the subject, or had a relationship. We feel that because of this it pre-lays foundation to the relationship and helps the viewers come to a conclusion where they question themselves. What did this man do for his enemy to seek revenge? Furthermore, the pitch is interesting to make a film upon because it leaves the audience to question what will happen to the man, will he die? Which gives our group a lot of versatility in that perspective. This is why this pitch is a great idea, and would be an interesting pitch to make a film on.
The second pitch is "He wakes up in a dark room, a man in the corner of his eye, the man attacks."
This short pitch is also very interesting one that we feel meets our interest in making a film revolving around it. For starters, this pitch leans more towards the horror/thriller genre in which is the focus of what we want our film to be about. Also, the pitch makes the enemy or antagonist seem insane, which we feel is perfect for our film and for our actors to really improve one being the most outgoing, the most frightening they can be. Rather than a calmer, easier character to act. Finally, we also feel that this pitch is an interesting one to make a film about because it leaves the audience on edge, with many question in their mind similar to the first pitch. Where is the man? How any why did he get there? This is why this pitch is one to consider for our group.
In the end, our group choose the first pitch, "A man is taking his daily walk through the park, what he doesn't know is that his enemy is watching... waiting to seek revenge.''
Ultimately we choose this pitch because it gives the group a lot more versatility, as far as more wiggle room to plan what our film will specifically be about. Furthermore, this pitch is perfect as far as setting and makes it easier to complete due to availability. This is why we choose the first pitch.
